SONG OF THE QUARTER

Hallelujah For The Cross
CCLI # 7107551
Ben Glover, Chris McClarney and Jeff Pardo

This declarative song speaks of what we are most thankful and grateful for – which is the sacrifice made on the cross. Isn’t it amazing that our God who created everything in the universe actually knows who we are, and would even go so far to give His only son to die on the cross for us? Hope that we will be blessed by the lyrics which reflect themes of healing, mercy and redemption.

Remember Christ
CCLI # 7254088
Ben Fielding, David Ware, Reuben Morgan

"For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes."  1 Corinthians 11:26

This verse is at the heart of why we selected "Remember Christ" by CXMMXNS as our Song of the Quarter. The Apostle Paul reminds the Church that every time we participate in the Lord’s Supper, we are not only remembering Jesus, but we are also proclaiming Him.

This proclamation is not just a silent act but a bold declaration of faith, hope, and allegiance to Christ, for all that He has done for us, giving Himself fully that we may be clothe with His righteousness.

This song is simple yet powerful and captures our remembrance of the sacraments in thankfulness, beautifully giving us a way to respond in worship.

May this song not only be a reflection but a bold declaration each time we sing “remember Christ,” we are preaching the gospel to ourselves and one another.
We declare His death, His love, His sacrifice, and the promise of His return.
