Pray Without Ceasing

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.

  1. LK had surgery for pancreatic cancer. Pray for good healing and a miracle in his life.

UPDATES

  1. CG’s oncologist to have new options for treatment of peritoneal cancer. CG is a mother of two young school children. Pray for a miracle.

  2. Mrs K, a teacher in Japan went for a trail run three weeks ago and has not returned. Contact lost when her handphone battery went flat. She has yet to be found. Pray for a miracle for Mrs K to be safe.

  3. B to handle family finances well and clear off existing debts. To break the cycle of borrowing and being in lack. B to take up the help offered with a determination to break free.

  4. S’s dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

    • To open his heart to Jesus and receive Christ as his Lord and Savior.

    • Peace and trust to allow God to journey with him through his treatment.

  5. CL to call on Jesus in his time of need. Holy Spirit to touch him to have full physical, emotional and spiritual recovery.

    • C4 to C5 to experience miraculous healing. C6 and C7 to remain in its place.

    • Physiotherapy to heal the strengthen his spine.

    • Rekindled relationship with his wife and children as God heals them to respond in love to one another.

  6. J, 23 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer with metastasis to her ovaries. Thanksgiving for a successful surgery. Pray for:

    • Systemic chemo to be effective to grant full recovery. Safety as she begins immunotherapy and chemotherapy soon.

    • The Lord to protect, comfort, heal and envelop her and the family with peace.

  7. A had a successful liver transplant on 16 Apr. Protection and mercy as his body adjusts to recovery and to heal. Pray for:

    • Continual good nursing management at home.

    • Kidney that was overstretched before surgery to recover and heal miraculously.

    • Restoration and rebuilding of healthy family relationships.

    • A to experience God’s loving mercy and return to walking in the Lord.

  8. E to recover from emotional heartache and betrayal in a relationship. To build a community of good Christian friends and engage in healthy activities and be released from social media addiction. Pray for:

    • E to rely on God’s love and embrace forgiveness.

    • Healing and rebuilding of family relationships.

  9. LW has Stage 4 Ovarian cancer with spread to liver, stomach lining and large intestines. Fever has been spiking. Pray for:

    • Infections to clear and strength to cope with chemo doses with minimal side effects.

    • Strength for H her caregiver.

  10. Thanksgiving for a successful brain surgery for A. Pray for:

    • Pre-believing family members to come to know Jesus as Lord and saviour.

    • A to trust in God for the next treatment steps and with courage, to bravely battle on.

    • Good sleep every night and body to heal miraculously with God’s daily divine intervention.

  11. WW, 68 years old, to open her heart to Jesus as she receives love and support from her family during her breast cancer treatment. First chemo was on 26 Feb. Pray for:

    • Healing and restoration.

    • Side effects of bone aches and weakness to be gone. Bones to be strengthened instead.

    • A heart to open to salvation in Jesus Christ.

  12. S, 25 years old, has lymphoma and just had her third round of chemo treatment. Pray for S:

    • To trust God to heal her.

    • Strengthened body and good appetite to care for her two young children.

    • Faith to arise as S seeks God’s protective covering to handle difficult family demands.

  13. AL was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Praising God for the peace that surrounds the family with love and support for her. Pray for:

    • Wisdom for doctors to prescribe the right dosage and treatment for AL.

    • Side effects to be minimised and God’s peace to settle in her heart.

  14. D’s mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pray for:

    • D’s mother to adjust to the new treatment regime with minimal side effects.

    • D to cope with caregiving and working.

    • Protection over the family as they support one another during this tough time.

    • Father who has kidney issues to receive salvation.

  15. Z who had a brain bleed had 3D Clinorplasty Skull Implant done on 22 May. Pray for:

    • The Lord to re-awaken her brain cells with excellent healing of her memory and faculties.

    • God to be her miracle worker, strengthening the family to continue with her care.

    • Husband ML to continue to trust God and kept safe as he travels for work overseas.

  16. God’s mercy to restore FY as she walks in faith and receives chemotherapy. Pray for:

    • Chemo drug to effectively stop the cancer from spreading and its side effects to reduce.

    • Immunity to increase as God gives her strength to live each day well.

    • Cancer lump on her shoulder to shrink.

    • Staff will experience God’s power and faithfulness through their service.

    • Godly partnership between lay leaders, staff and volunteers.

  4. Christian Outreach & Social Concerns (COSC) Events (14 Jun 2025)
    Pray for:

    House Cleaning Project with PEACE-CONNECT (Active Aging Centre) (9 am – 12.30 pm)

    • Connection as conversations take place with the seniors on cleaning of their homes.

    • Seniors of the 48 homes to be receptive to God and church volunteers’ presence.

    • God’s protection for the volunteers as they turn up in full force on 14 Jun to serve purposefully with a servant heart.

    • Good weather as coordinating team and block leaders work out the details, having joy as they serve.

    Family Carnival (2 pm – 4 pm)

    • Thanksgiving for the overwhelming response of 106 families in the community (original plan was for only 60).

    • The volunteers from Small Groups and BeTween to manage the games and food stalls as families embrace fun and laughter, being blessed by the church community.

    • Awareness of the Wesley Youth Centre (WYC) activities, and Wesley church presence in community.

    • Families to sign their children for WYC OWL (reading) programme.

    • Good preparation and smooth programme execution with God's protection over all volunteers and carnival participants.

    • Carnival objectives to be achieved where Christ is recognised and glorified.

    • Expansion of WYC activities at Jalan Besar area beyond Jalan Berseh to befriend families and children.
